The Junior Boys finally got their first win of the campaign, defeating Farrer Park Primary on 10th February 2011. The Junior Boys led from start to finish, defeating their opponents 44 - 14. Well done boys~!

Heartbreak for Seniors =[

The Senior Boys suffered a heartbreaking loss to Da Qiao Primary on the 9th February 2011. The boys played hard and was able to obtain a 5-point lead after the 3rd quarter. However, they lost their concentration at the start of the 4th quarter to allow their opponents to score 11 straight points and open up a 6-point lead instead. The Senior Boys rallied back in the closing minutes of the game to setup a thrilling finale, but were unfortuante to lose the game by 1 point. =[

The Senior Boys will now need to beat St Andrew's Junior School at their home court to advance to the next round. All the best~!

The Senior Boys suffered their first defeat of the 2011 campaign at the hands of Jing Shan Primary on 31st January 2011. The game was very close from the start till the final minutes of the 4th quarter. The Seniors Boys put up a good fight, but eventually lost the closely-matched game to the 2010 3rd runner-up.

Painful Loss for Seniors =[

The Senior Legends team started the Nationals tournament with a narrow defeat to Nan Chiau Primary on 22nd March 2010. The Legends fought hard against the 2009 2nd runner-up and held a 6-point lead after 3 quarters. However it was not their day as they fell apart in the 4th quarter and lost influential captain Michael in the final minutes due to an unforunate injury.

With Michael sidelined for at least a month due to the injury, the Legends will now face an uphill battle to win their remaining 2 games without their top-scorer. Still, the Senior Legends will rally together and fight harder to keep their dreams alive.

The Legends started slow but held their nerves in the 2nd half to defeat their opponents in the high scoring game and clinch 3rd place~!! Well Done =)

The Legends fought hard but were unable to make up for the loss of key player Brix who went off injured in the first quarter. Finally managed to find some time away from all the BORING marking to make a post of my own! Haha.

Been thinking of what to post for a long time, and finally, yes finally, made a decision to use this blog to write about the basketball boys team! Hopefully, the blog will serve as a platform for the boys to interact, get to know each other, get team news (updates) and to bond closer as a team. =)

Examination ends tomorrow and training restarts on thursday! I'm sure the boys are looking forward to it. Haha. (They just love being tortured during training)

Hope everyone will enjoy reading as you follow the team's latest updates on their quest for the championship next season.
